Quail Valley Rehabilitation & Therapy
At Park Manor of Quail Valley, post surgical care, wound care, and rehabilitation is about treating the whole patient – physically, emotionally, and socially. Our team of professionals includes staff physicians, nurses, social workers, and physical, occupational and speech therapists. Each works with the patient and the family to help return the patient to their highest functioning level. We coordinate a specific rehabilitation and therapy program for each patient, which includes:
- Medical treatment with our physicians
- Specialized physical rehab care
- Mobility and physical therapy
- Building independence
- Occupational therapy and skills of independent living
- Speech therapy and language skills
- Personal care with a social worker
Because recovery doesn’t end upon discharge, we work with our patients and their families to educate them and organize continuing care plans. Our social workers assist with aftercare needs and help line up community resources and special equipment and our therapists teach patients and families what to do to continue functional improvement at home after rehabilitation and/or therapy.
